How to Cook Pizza?

Pizza was firstly cooked by Italian for pie, and because of its special taste and good-looking appearance it developed so fast that it was one of the favorite foods in many countries in the world including the USA. We can see numerous kinds of pizza in the Pizza Hut. Actually, cooking pizza is not as difficult as it seems to be.

Pizza Pan

The first thing you should do is to prepare the ingredients for all including the base, piazzaiola and the topping. There are six things that you must have for the base which contains flour, olive oil, salt, water, dried yeast, and sugar. Then you must make sure that you have bought an onion, some garlic, tomatoes, oregano, basil and pepper. These things will be used as the necessary ingredients for the piazzaiola. Enough cheese, perma ham and some salami can make your pizza more nice and tasty. All these things are required to be prepared before.

Pizza Pan

The second thing may need your patience because it may cost you some time. Before the cooking, you are required to make dough. Firstly, mix the yeast with some water and sugar and keep it in the glass for a few minutes when there is some foam. Secondly, put the flour in a larger bowl where some olive oil, salt, water and the yeast you just prepared will be put in and mixed with the flour. And you should knead them until it become dough and then put it there for some times with a cover of a towel. During the time you are waiting, you can go to the next step for pizzaiola by add the tomatoes and peppers into the fried pieces of onion and the garlic.

The third thing is to use your fingers to spread parts of the dough in a pizza pan. Then cut the mozzarella and the whole toppings. After that, spread the piazzaiola onto the dough with the toppings on the top and the cheese last.

The last thing seems to be easier. You just need to put the pizza in the oven and wait for a few minutes. The process of preparation may require you some efforts and time, but when you eat the pizza that is made by yourself you will find it worth doing all these things.

If you follow the steps above, you can definitely find that cooking pizza is as easy as watching TV and it is also very interesting in cooking. But, if you are still interested in cooking some other pizzas, you may search on the Internet for some more details for the recipe or some videos about cooking pizza.

Cooking Terminology - 10 Useful Definitions

You will find these cooking techniques in many recipes, and hopefully with these simple definitions, you will expand your cooking repertoire.

Pizza Pan

1. al dente: This is a term used to describe the "doneness" of pasta. Pasta should be cooked "al dente" which is firm to the bite. Taste the pasta as it is cooking, and aim for pasta that is tender but not mushy, firm but not hard, chewy but not crunchy. The pasta will continue to retain heat and cook a little after it is drained. Al dente is the perfect texture for any sauce you wish to add.

Pizza Pan

2. baste: To spoon, brush or drizzle food with butter, sauce, pan juices or other liquid as it cooks. You can use a bulb baster, spoon or brush.

3. blanch: To immerse in rapidly boiling water and allow to cook slightly, usually until a vegetable turns a bright color of itself.

4. blind bake: To precook pie crusts before filling them to ensure thorough cooking and to control shrinking. This method could also be used for pizza crusts before they are topped.

5. braise: To cook food, first by browning in a little oil or butter, and then adding liquid to pan, cover, and finish cooking over low heat.

6. caramelize: To slowly dissolve sugar - white or brown - in a small amount of water over low heat, resulting in a syrup. When caramelizing nuts, just add sugar alone with nuts over low heat.

7. deglaze: This process is used to make a sauce from the tasty bits left in the pan after sauteeing or roasting. Add a liquid, wine, broth, lemon juice, other fruit juice, or cream to pan and reduce to desired consistency.

8. roux: A roux is a thick sauce made from combining flour and butter over heat, then adding a liquid. It is used as a thickening agent or beginning of a soup base.

9. saute: To saute means to cook food in a hot pan with a fat; usually oil or butter. This technique is best used when meat is no thicker than 1/4 inch.

10. sear: To cook meat quickly over intense heat, usually in a skillet to form a crust. This is done before roasting meat.

Eastman Outdoors 90414 BBQ ZaGrill's Pizza Pan Specifications

Traditional Italian pizzas are cooked in brick ovens where intense, even heat creates the signature, chewy-crisp crust that's so hard to reproduce at home. Now you can achieve professional results on a backyard grill with ZaGrill’s unique, raised design. A patent-pending, double-heat shield distributes heat evenly to crisp crust and bubble cheese without burning. You can stop worrying about hot spots, limp, doughy crust, or charring the bottom while you wait for toppings to cook. Ideal for homemade pies, this cooker also adds brick-oven flavor to frozen or take-home pizzas, making a quick, weeknight meal tastier. Add wood chips to the grill for a smoky flavor you just can't create inside--and on those hot summer nights, you'll never have to stand in a sweltering kitchen. Best of all, the ZaGrill is nonstick. The Secret Recipes of Pizza Hut - Cheese Stuffed Crust Pizza

Trying to unlock the secret recipes of pizza hut and their delicious cheese stuffed crust pizza? Look no further, because I have a fantastic dish for you:

Pizza Pan

Ingredients

Pizza Pan

Crust
3/4 cp warm water
11/4 tsp's yeast
1 tbsp sugar
2 1/4 cp's bread flour
1 1/2 tsp's salt
1 1/2 tbsp's olive oil
8 oz's mozzarella string cheese

Make the crust one day prior to baking. Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar in a medium bowl. Mix together. Let bowl sit for 5 minutes. In a large bowl mix flour and salt and make a shallow dip in the center of the mixture. Add oil and yeast-water mixture to the dip and combine using a fork until well mixed. Put the dough on a clean flat surface with flour. Start to knead the dough for three minutes. Continue for two minutes if the dough is not smooth. This should take about 1 minute. Rub a light coating of oil on dough and put into a baking pan.

Cover with a towel and store in warm place for 2 hours, until it doubles in size. Flatten the dough, and put it into an air-tight container and store in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Roll out the dough to 18 inches. Place dough on pan and make a ring around the edge. Line the edge with string cheese. Moisten the edge with water and fold over the dough to cover cheese. Score the center of dough with a fork. Lightly brush the dough with olive oil. Apply toppings and bake at 475 degrees F for 14- 15 minutes.

Soft-Crust Pizza

Note: If you like soft, chewy pizza, here is a low-carb version that will please you. Soft and thicker crusts require more dough, though, which makes the carb count rise. Make this pizza an occasional treat - perhaps to keep you from running to a pizza parlor or calling for delivery.

Pizza Pan

Regular pizza dough usually calls for about 3 cups of flour (if you want to make pizza at home). You can make a big pizza with all that flour, but one slice of a 16-inch pizza could have 34.0 grams of carb just for the crust. You can see what you are up against. Regular pizzas are true carb killers. This crust has 7.7 grams of carb per serving.

Pizza Pan

SERVING SIZE,1 slice (12-inch pizza).
CARBS PER SERVING, (CRUST ONLY): 7.7 grams of carb.
NUMBER OF SERVINGS: 8.

Ingredients:
½ cup cold water
1/3 cup hot water
4 Tablesps olive oil
1 package rapid-rise yeast
¾ cup stone ground whole-wheat flour
½ cup whole almond meal
½ cup soy protein powder
salt (about ¼ Teasp or to taste)

Preheat oven to 450ºF. Lightly oil a 14-inch pizza pan.

Combine the cold water, boiling water, and olive oil in a medium-size mixing bowl. Add the yeast and stir. While the yeast activates (it needs to adds sugar), combine the stone ground whole-wheat flour, almond meal, soy protein powder (except for the last Tablesp), and salt in another mixing bowl; stir. Add the dry mix to the yeast mix and stir with a fork until the moisture is pretty well absorbed. Work the dough by hand until smooth (it takes a few seconds). Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for about 10 minutes.

While the dough rises, prepare sauce and toppings (see pages 186 and 187).

Spread the dough to fit the pizza pan and form an edge. Build the pizza. Bake for about 15 to 18 minutes or until bubbly and done.
